My Approach

malahide-beautiful-beach-image

I believe in a holistic and client-centered approach to therapy. I use evidence-based techniques and tailor my method to meet your individual needs. I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable exploring your thoughts and feelings.

Often people are concerned about going to therapy in their home neighbourhood. I can work with you to facilitate zoom sessions, or meeting in either practices in Fairview, Malahide or outdoors.

For Zoom sessions I recommend meeting at least once preferably for the first session to understand if I am a good fit for your needs.

Like any relationship in life there needs to be a connection and foundation of trust built with your therapist to work together. If I am not a good fit we can work towards recommending alternative therapists to meet your needs.

Areas of Focus

I work with a variety of mental health concerns including:

Anxiety Disorders

Anxiety disorders aren’t just occasional nerves—they’re persistent and can interfere deeply with daily life. My goal is to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to regain control..

Depression

Depression goes beyond sadness—it’s a deep, persistent sense of emptiness, exhaustion, and disconnection that can affect every part of life. As a therapist, I recognize how heavy this burden can be and how isolating it may feel.

Trauma & PTSD

Trauma leaves deep marks—on the body, the mind, and the heart and can change how we feel, think, and relate to the world. As a therapist, I offer a grounded, supportive space where healing can begin.

Relationship Issues

From miscommunication and conflict to deeper issues like trust, intimacy, or emotional disconnection. I help individuals and couples explore these patterns with honesty and care.

Stress Management

Stress is a natural part of life—but chronic stress can quietly wear us down, affecting sleep, focus, relationships, and overall well-being. In therapy, we look beyond the surface to understand what’s truly driving your stress response.

Grief & Loss

Grief is a deeply personal journey—it has no timeline, no “right way.” Whether you’ve lost a loved one, a relationship, a role, or even a sense of identity, your pain is valid and worthy of care.

Sleep difficulties and intrusive thoughts

Stress, anxiety, trauma, or even unprocessed emotions can disrupt your ability to rest. Intrusive thoughts and poor sleep often feed off each other, making it harder to recover and feel well.
